The Kansas Education Resource Center (KERC) contains tools for teachers to use in aligning classroom instruction and assessment to Kansas' academic standards. Here, you can view over 650 new lesson plans and resources that have been added to KERC across several curricular areas, grade levels, and standards.
The Kansas Learning Quest Education Savings Program was created by the 1999 Kansas Legislature. It is a 529 college savings plan, offering education savings accounts to help you pay higher education expenses for individuals you designate or for yourself. The program also provides tax advantages under both Kansas and federal law.
Provided by the Kansas Board of Regents, you can search the online directory for institutions, view information about academic initiatives, student financial aid, and qualified admissions, and access forms and documents necessary for furthering education.
The Teacher Education and Licensure (TEAL) team is responsible for issuing educator licenses, facilitating the review of educator training programs at all Kansas institutions and coordinating a process for those institutions that leads to accreditation by the Kansas State Board of Education.
