Kansas Governor Sam Brownback has declared Inclement Weather from 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 through 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 for benefits eligible non-essential State of Kansas Executive Branch employees, who work in Shawnee County.
Note: This declaration does not include employees in the Board of Regents, Regents Institutions, the Judicial Branch, nor the Legislative Branch of Government. Check with your designated representatives to determine if you are also eligible.

from 3PM Thursday, 01/07/10 through 9:30AM, Friday 01/08/10
AND 3PM Friday, 01/08/10 through 9AM Saturday, 01/09/10
for benefits eligible non-essential State of Kansas Executive
Branch employees, who work in Shawnee County.
Note: This declaration does not include employees
in the Board of Regents, Regents Institutions, the Judicial Branch,
nor the Legislative Branch of Government. Check with your designated
representatives to determine if you are also eligible.
Agency appointing authorities are encouraged to use their discretion
to determine whether to allow employees to leave in advance of
the Declaration of Inclement Weather. Please advise employees
to drive carefully, as road conditions are worsening.

01/06/2010 through 9:30 AM Thursday, 01/07/2010 for benefits eligible
non-essential State of Kansas Executive Branch employees, who
work in Shawnee County. If inclement Weather is declared beyond
9:30AM Thursday, 01/07/2010, another message will be posted and
media will be alerted. Listen to local radio and television for
additional information.

Due to the
winter conditions, the Governor’s Office has declared Inclement
Weather from 2:00 pm through 11:59 PM Thursday, 12/24/2009
for benefits eligible non-essential State of Kansas Executive
Branch employees, who work in Shawnee County.
As a result, all State of Kansas offices in Shawnee County will
officially close at 2:00 pm this afternoon. More
