SENATE BILL No. 53
An Act concerning counties; relating to statements of
expenditures; amending K.S.A. 2002
Supp. 19-228 and repealing the existing section.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
Section 1. K.S.A. 2002 Supp. 19-228
is hereby amended to read as
follows: 19-228. (a) Except as provided by this section, the board
commissioners shall cause to be published at the end of each
quarter or, if the county commissioners so provide, at the end of
month, an itemized statement of all sums of money allowed in excess
