WEB SITE SHOWCASES 150th ANNIVERSARY OF THE KANSAS NATIONAL GUARD

The 150th Anniversary of the Kansas National Guard Committee announces the launch of a Web site providing information about events and activities connected with the celebration of the Kansas National Guard’s sesquicentennial.

The URL for the site is www.accesskansas.org/ksadjutantgeneral/150th Guard Anniversary/index.html

“One hundred fifty years of service to Kansas is a grand achievement,” said Brig. Gen. Jonathan Small, chairman of the committee. “This Web site is an ideal way to share information about the Kansas National Guard’s proud heritage.”

The Web site has information about statewide events connected with the celebration, news releases, Kansas National Guard history and memorabilia commemorating the 150th celebration that is available for purchase. The information will be regularly updated as new events and activities are announced.
