CUB SCOUTS TO TOUR KANSAS NATIONAL GUARD FLIGHT FACILITY FEB. 3

Cub Scout Pack 175 in Topeka will get an up close look at flight operations of the 1st Battalion, 108th Aviation and Detachment 1, Company C, 1st Battalion, 171st Medevac, Kansas National Guard, on Sunday, Feb. 3. Approximately 14 scouts and their parents will visit the unit's flight operations facility in Building 636, Forbes Field, at 1:30 p.m.. After a brief tour, they will walk next door to one of the unit's aircraft hangars, where they will get a hands-on look at a UH-60 Black Hawk medevac helicopter.
