FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 15, 2008 No. 08-036 HARLEY-DAVIDSON EMPLOYEES WILL GET UP CLOSE LOOK AT KANSAS NATIONAL
GUARD AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE FACILITIES Employees of the Harley-Davidson dealership in Topeka are used to keeping
the motorcycles they service in shape to fly down the road. On April 21,
they will get the chance to see how the Kansas National Guard keeps its
equipment flying literally. Approximately 10 to 15 employees of the Topeka Harley-Davidson dealership
will get an up-close look at two Kansas National Guard aircraft maintenance
facilities one Army and one Air during a special tour on
Monday, April 21. The tour is being arranged through the Kansas National
Guard Recruiting and Retention Command and Employer Support of the Guard
and Reserve in appreciation for the support given by the ownership and
employees of Harley-Davidson to the Kansas National Guard. In addition, two of the dealerships employees are recent recruits
to the Kansas National Guard. Pvt Jesse Poe is a recent honor graduate
of the U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter repair school. He is a member of
the 1st Battalion, 108th Aviation. Airman Logan Glenn is a member of the
190th Air Refueling Wing and is currently at the U.S. Air Force Avionics
