FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 15, 2008 No. 08-037 EMBEDDED TRAINING TEAM #3 RETURNING FROM AFGHANISTAN APRIL 21 Twelve Kansas National Guardsmen will be honored at a welcome home ceremony
on Monday, April 21 as they return from Operation Enduring Freedom. The ceremony will begin at noon at the Kansas National Guard Armory in
Manhattan, Kan., 721 Levee Drive. The armory doors will open at 11 a.m. Sixteen soldiers deployed in April 2007 for a one year mission in Afghanistan
as an Embedded Training Team under the 218th Brigade, training Afghan
National Army Forces. Twelve of the soldiers are returning at this time
and four have been extended. -30- |
