Our latest question deals with Kansas Preneed Law.

 Upon death the deceased had a guaranteed prefinanced funeral agreement funded via a trust.  If there are any remaining funds from the guaranteed portion of the preneed, those funds

a)  belong to the funeral home.

b)  are retained by the financial institution.

c)  can be used to go toward payment of non-guaranteed costs.

d)  belong to the preneed seller.
