The Kansas State
Board of Technical Professions recently held an election of
officers. Cecil M. Kingsley P.E., was elected Board Chairman. He is a licensed Engineer from
Lawrence, KS and was appointed to the Board in October 1999.
He is a Partner in the Manhattan
based engineering, architectural and land surveying firm of BG Consultants,
Inc. and manager of the firm's Lawrence office. Member of the National
Society of Professional Engineers, American Public Works Association,
Kansas Consulting Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
His civil engineering career spans over 34 years, with his personal expertise
centering on municipal and civil projects.
The other
officers of the Board that have been elected are: Richard Moberly, Vice-Chair
of the Board; George Barbee, was elected Board Secretary; George Dean will serve as Chair of the PE/LS
Committee and Vince Mancini will serve as chair of the Arch/LA/Geo Committee.
