STATE BOARD OF TECHNICAL PROFESSIONS HOLDS ELECTIONS

The Kansas State Board of Technical Professions recently held an election of officers.  Philip J. Meyer, Landscape Architect, was elected as Board Chairperson.
Mr. Meyer was appointed to the Board in September 2003. Mr. Meyer is Vice-President and Secretary of Baughman Company, P.A., a multi-disciplinary firm in Wichita specializing in engineering, surveying, landscape architecture and planning.  He is responsible for managing the landscape architecture and planning division of the firm, which works on both public and private projects.  He is certified by CLARB and has served an active role for the CLARB while being on the State Board.  He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. He is licensed to practice landscape architecture in both Kansas and Missouri.
The other officers elected to the Board were: Tim Sloan, Vice-Chairperson; Forrest Erickson was elected to Board Secretary; Vince Mancini will serve as Chairperson of the ARCH/GEO/LA Committee and George Dean will serve as Chairperson of the PE/LS Committee.
