Portal Policies

Web site policies give visitor’s confidence in the site. Include links to an accessibility policy, a privacy policy and a security policy on every page of your site (preferably in the footer).

The State of Kansas accessibility policy should be linked to all state agency Web sites. A privacy policy should explain to site visitors how any information gathered about them would be used, if their actions are being tracked, and if their information will be shared with any other organizations. A security policy should describe how secure the site is and how this security is maintained.

Below are Kansas.gov policies.
