KSBHA Online License Renewals

We are in the process of changing our online renewal process. Online renewals are now available, alternatively, paper renewal forms are available on our website.

Introduction

Health care professionals currently licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) may renew their credentials online. Usage of the term "license" during the online renewal refers to all credentials issued by KSBHA.

This online service is provided by Kansas.gov, a third-party working under a contract awarded and administered by the Information Network of Kansas (INK). The online price of items or services purchased through Kansas.gov, the state's official web portal, include funds used to develop, maintain, enhance, and expand the service offerings of the state's portal.

Getting Started

What you Need to Renew Online

  • Kansas Board of Healing Arts license number.
  • Last four digits of your Social Security Number.
  • Your date of birth
  • Name and license number of all health care professionals you supervise or that supervise you (if required).
  • Continuing education CEU hours (if required).
  • Proof of malpractice insurance coverage (if required).

Acceptable Payment Methods

The accepted payment methods are Electronic Check or Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover). The total amount of your transaction will reflect pricing through the Kansas.gov electronic payment processor.

Who May Not Renew Online

You will need to renew your license using the appropriate Paper Application Form if any of the below conditions apply to you.

  • If you need to change your license designation (Active, Inactive, Exempt, or Federal Active) to any other designation please refer to the next section titled Changing Your License Designation.
  • If you are Physical Therapist (PT) with Exempt or Federal Active license designation.
  • Institutional Licenses, Contact Lens Distributor registrations and Limited Licenses.

Changing Your License Designation

You will need to renew your license using the appropriate Paper Application Form if any of the below conditions apply to you.

  • If you are a MD, DO, DC, DPM with a license designation of Inactive or Exempt and want to change your license designation to Active or Federal Active.
  • If you are Physical Therapist (PT) with Exempt or Federal Active license designation and want to change your license designation to Active or Inactive.
