Welcome to the Kansas criminal history record search site where you can find information on the process of conducting criminal history record checks, as well as answers to common questions. The state of Kansas allows the release of Kansas criminal history records to the general public as well as to a variety of users with specific rights and entitlements.

If you would like to link your KanAccess and Subscriber accounts, instructions are available on the Kansas.gov Portal.
These record checks are fee-based where both the fee and extent of information released is dependent on Kansas statutes and regulations.
You may conduct a record check at any time between the hours of 4:00 AM and Midnight, Central Time, every day. The Kansas Central Repository is unavailable from Midnight to 4:00 AM each day for scheduled maintenance.
When you begin your search request, you will be granted a time-stamped authentication token. The token will be stored in a temporary session cookie. You must have cookies turned on to use this application. After 30 minutes of inactivity within the Criminal History Record Search application, your session will timeout and you will be logged out automatically and redirected back to the home page. This is designed to lower the chances of someone else being able to use your information while you are away from your computer.
