Body Art Best Practices
"Proper Sterilizer Protocol"

Pre Autoclave

Contaminated tools/equipment should be placed directly in a closed container near your work station containing a protein dissolving detergent or enzyme cleaner, to be submerged and soaked. The tools/equipment should then be taken, in the container, to the sink, to be drained, and then to the ultra sonic cleaner. It is not advisable to carry contaminated tools and equipment across the shop to the ultra sonic cleaner by hand or even wrapped in plastic or paper towels due to the increased chance of cross contamination.
