First a list of some regular jams around the state. Before you drive any long distance to one, please call ahead. We all try to stick to a schedule but things change. If you have one to list, please contact us.

• Auburn, Kansas Prairie Picker Association jam, 4th Sunday of the month, October through April, Auburn Community Center, 1-5 p.m., for info call Ron Meier at (785) 633-0984. The 2024/2025 schedule is Oct x, Nov x, Jan 1, Jan 26, Feb 23, Mar 23, Apr 27.
• Lawrence, Kaw Valley Acoustic Music Assoc. Jam at the Dillards, 1720 Troon Land, 7:00-9:30 p.m. Usually the second Tuesday evening of the month. Contact John Dillard (785)865-5502.
• Lawrence, Old Time Fiddle Tunes Jam Session, at various houses and businesses in Lawrence, KS. Pot luck at 5:00 jam 6:00 to 8:00, on the first, second and third Sundays of the month. All acoustic instruments are welcome. In Bluegrass you take a break and then wait your turn while everyone else takes a break. In Old-Time everyone plays full blast all the time. • Cottonwood Falls,Emma Chase Music Hall - different flavor each Friday. First Friday-Acoustic Gospel, second Friday is acoustic bluegrass & folk, third Friday of odd numbered month-rock & roll and vintage country (amplifiers allowed), Fourth Friday of even numbered months -acoustic country, folk & bluegrass. • Kansas City, HABOT (Heart of America Bluegrass & Old Time Music Association) Meets 3rd Fri. night of month Oct-May, 6-10:45 p.m. at North Cross United Methodist Chruch, 1321 N.E. Vivion Road in Kansas City. Contact Mary Eddings 816-516-5562 or Jim Downs 816-628-3275.
• Kansas City, 1st Fridays, October-May, Kansas City Area Bluegrass Music Club, 6:00-10:30 pm, Blue Ridge Boulevard United Methodist Church, 5055 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO Doors open at 6, stage shows start at 7. Donations will be collected. Enter the church through the back door from the parking lot. • Topeka, The Kaw Valley Country Music Club meets the first Sunday of each month at the Elmont United Methodist Church, 6635 NW Church Lane, from 1-5 p.m. Acoustic musicians welcome.
• Topeka, Acoustic Music Jam, Saturdays, 2-4 p.m. at the Celtic Fox Irish Pub and Restaurant, 118 SW 8th Ave, (downtown Topeka). For more information Email Ken or Martha Hagen: hagen1525@gmail.com
• Topeka,Pickin' on the Prairie Bluegrass Jam every Sunday 1-3 pm. Potwin Drug Store, Old Prairie Town, 785-215-6997 for more info.
• Wichita, Kansas Bluegrass Association Monthly Jam, First Sunday of the month - Damm Music, 8945 W. Central (Wichita) 1-4 p.m. Second Saturday of the month - Uhlik Music, 2160 E Douglas (Wichita) 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Both jams will invite beginners and slow jammers to play during the first hour, followed by an open jam for the duration.
